1060 Aluminum Plate

The 1060 aluminum plate is a commonly used grade within the 1 series of industrial pure aluminum. It has distinct characteristics. Due to its high-purity aluminum composition, its aluminum content is no less than 99.60%. It possesses high plasticity, high elongation, high tensile strength, excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, and weldability. It can fully meet the requirements of conventional processing.

Excellent processing performance: High ductility, highly suitable for forming processes such as stamping, stretching, and bending.

Good corrosion resistance and conductivity/thermal conductivity: The surface is prone to form an oxide film, with excellent corrosion resistance; at the same time, it is an excellent conductor and heat conductor.

Lower cost: The production process is mature, and the price is relatively advantageous in aluminum alloy sheets.

Disadvantages and limitations:

Low strength: Cannot be strengthened through heat treatment, it is a low-strength material.

Poor machinability: The texture is relatively soft, making it prone to sticking to the cutting tool during machining.
