Product Introduction
OSB (Oriented Strand Board) is a high-performance artificial structural board made by arranging wood strands in a directional manner and hot-pressing them with professional adhesives. It overcomes the anisotropy defect of natural wood, realizing superior dimensional stability, uniform mechanical strength and large surface area. The product adopts an odd-numbered layer structure, and the textures of adjacent layers are perpendicular to each other. This structure can effectively offset the shrinkage stress of wood, making the board not easy to crack or deform. It has the characteristics of high strength, good load-bearing capacity and strong bending resistance, and is widely used in furniture manufacturing, interior decoration, building formwork, packaging box boards and ship carriages, serving as a fundamental and versatile structural and decorative base material.

Product Advantage
The crisscross odd-layer structure completely eliminates the anisotropy of natural wood. The static bending strength of the product can reach more than 30MPa, and the elastic modulus exceeds 5000MPa. After national standard testing, its thickness expansion rate is less than 10% in humid environments, far superior to ordinary solid wood and other artificial boards, ensuring the long-term stability and non-deformation of the finished structure.
All products use E0 or ENF grade formaldehyde-free adhesives, with formaldehyde emission strictly controlled at the top level of ≤0.025mg/m³. All core veneers are subjected to high-temperature hot-pressing sterilization treatment, and the moisture content is precisely controlled between 8% and 12%. This eliminates mold and pests from the source, meeting the world's most stringent green building and home health standards.
The unique laminated structure endows the board with outstanding nail-holding capacity and processability. It can be easily subjected to secondary processing such as sawing, drilling, engraving and special-type bending without chipping. The product covers a full specification range from 3mm ultra-thin to 50mm ultra-thick, and provides functional surface treatments such as fireproof, moisture-proof and wear-resistant, meeting the needs of all scenarios from furniture frames to decorative surface materials.
It only selects high-quality solid wood rotary-cut veneers, and conducts strict moisture content balancing and defect screening through automatic production lines. The intelligent glue adjustment and precise blank assembly technology ensure uniform glue application in each layer, with the finished product density deviation rate less than 5%. This guarantees the internal stress balance of the board and high batch-to-batch performance consistency.
As an efficient product for comprehensive utilization of wood resources, its yield is 2 to 3 times that of solid wood. The advanced continuous flat press production line reduces production energy consumption by 15%. The product can be 100% recycled and reused, and has obtained FSC/PEFC forest certification, achieving a balance between economic benefits and environmental protection.
Technical Parameters
The standard size of OSB is 1220×2440mm, with a thickness range of 9mm-25mm, and it is divided into three types: OSB1, OSB2 and OSB3. The optional adhesive types include MR, melamine and WBP, and the product density is 650-680KGS/m³. It meets the E0 formaldehyde emission standard, with a bonding strength of Grade Ⅲ (Nc). The product is of excellent grade, packaged with export-standard pallets, originated from Linyi, China, and is mainly used for indoor scenarios. Customization services for special specifications are also available according to customer needs.

FAQ
The core advantage lies in the structural strength and stability of real wood. OSB is made by pressing solid wood veneers in a crisscross pattern, so its load-bearing capacity, bending resistance and nail-holding capacity are far superior to particleboard and density board made of crushed materials. In addition, it has better moisture resistance, making it an ideal choice for cabinets and load-bearing furniture.
The key is to check the formaldehyde emission limit in the test report. The highest national standard grade is ENF grade (≤0.025mg/m³), followed by E0 grade. Our ENF series products can provide national authoritative test reports to ensure indoor air quality safety.
Yes, but it is necessary to distinguish the base material type. Faced OSB with high-quality wood veneers such as birch and basswood on the surface can be directly painted. For plain OSB with ordinary mixed wood surface, putty should be applied for leveling before decorative treatment to achieve the best effect.
Yes, but you need to choose moisture-proof or waterproof OSB that has undergone special treatment. This type of product uses phenolic resin adhesive and has corresponding Class I or Class II waterproof grades, which can maintain stable performance in humid conditions. Ordinary OSB is not suitable for such environments.
