Product Introduction
MDF, short for Medium Density Fiberboard, is a widely used artificial board made by bonding wood fibers with eco-friendly adhesives through high-temperature and high-pressure molding. It features a uniform internal structure, smooth surface, and no obvious wood grain, making it an ideal base material for various decorative and structural applications. Unlike solid wood, it avoids defects such as knots, warping, and cracking, and can be processed into complex shapes with high precision. This product is widely applied in furniture manufacturing, interior wall cladding, door core production, and custom cabinetry, catering to the needs of both commercial and residential projects. It balances cost-effectiveness, processability, and reliability, making it a staple in the construction and decoration industries.

Product Advantage
The product is made by uniformly mixing and pressing high-quality wood fibers, resulting in a homogeneous internal structure with no obvious defects. The surface is extremely smooth, without knots or cracks, providing an excellent base for subsequent processing such as veneering, painting, and laminating. This feature ensures that the finished product has a consistent appearance and high-quality decorative effect, making it suitable for high-end decoration and furniture production.
MDF boasts outstanding processability, supporting a wide range of processing techniques including sawing, drilling, routing, carving, and bending. It can be easily shaped into complex curves and detailed patterns without chipping or splitting, meeting the requirements of custom furniture and creative decoration projects. Its dense structure also ensures strong nail-holding capacity, allowing for secure installation of hardware fittings such as hinges, handles, and drawer slides.
Our MDF products are manufactured using ENF grade formaldehyde-free adhesives, with formaldehyde emission levels as low as ≤0.025mg/m³, complying with the strictest international environmental standards. The production process adopts closed-loop dust collection and waste recycling systems, minimizing environmental impact. All products are certified by CE and ISO, ensuring they are safe for indoor use and do not pose health risks to users.
The moisture content of our MDF is strictly controlled within 6%-9%, and the product undergoes professional moisture-proof treatment to enhance its resistance to humidity changes. It has low expansion and contraction rates, maintaining dimensional stability even in humid environments. This feature makes it suitable for use in regions with high humidity, preventing deformation and ensuring a long service life.
Compared to solid wood and other artificial boards, MDF offers superior cost-effectiveness while maintaining high performance. It is a cost-efficient choice for large-scale projects, reducing overall construction and production costs without compromising quality. Its versatility allows it to be used in a wide range of applications, from furniture panels and wall cladding to door cores and decorative moldings, meeting diverse industry needs.

FAQ
MDF has a more uniform structure and smooth surface compared to particle board, which is made of wood chips and has a rough texture. Unlike plywood, which has a layered structure, MDF has no obvious grain, making it ideal for painting and laminating. It also has better processability and can be carved into more detailed patterns, while plywood excels in load-bearing and bending resistance.
Ordinary MDF is not recommended for outdoor use, as it is prone to swelling and deformation when exposed to rain and moisture. However, we offer specially treated moisture-proof MDF and waterproof MDF with phenolic resin adhesives, which can be used in semi-outdoor environments such as covered porters and balconies, but not in direct exposure to the elements.
MDF products are easy to maintain. For daily cleaning, use a soft cloth to wipe the surface with mild cleaning solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the surface finish. For melamine-faced MDF, stains can be wiped off easily with a damp cloth. It is also important to keep MDF products away from direct sunlight and excessive moisture to prevent warping and discoloration.
The load-bearing capacity of MDF depends on its thickness and density. Our high-density MDF (780-820kg/m³) with a thickness of 18mm or more can be used for light load-bearing applications such as shelf boards and cabinet panels. For heavy load-bearing needs, it is recommended to choose thicker boards or reinforce them with additional supports to ensure structural stability.
